What equipment is required?

In Canada, every RV must be equipped with a functional smoke detector, a propane detector if the vehicle has a gas system, a carbon monoxide detector and a Class ABC fire extinguisher. Detectors have a lifespan of 5-7 years — check expiration dates and replace regularly.
