The CURT A20 5th wheel hitch provides smoother, quieter towing for your home away from home, combining our patented A-Series technology, an easier mounting system, and the power of a 5th wheel hitch from 20000 lbs. Like our A16 hitch, this 20,000lb 5th wheel hitch uses a patented molded yoke to allow unhindered head movement, while providing exceptional trailer stability. The yoke has a set of poly-torsion inserts to suppress shock loads and reduce excessive noise, and the head features high-strength locking jaws to give the trailer stability and the freedom to swivel and swivel at need. The A20 5th wheel hitch is also designed for easier installation. The legs are equipped with two pins to properly align with the mounting holes, and they have easy-access mounting bolts for ergonomic tightening. The 5th wheel head also features a one-pin quick release system for easy installation and removal from the truck bed. This 20,000 lb 5th wheel mounts to all industry standard 5th wheel rails, using 5th wheel legs or a CURT 5th wheel roller. It can also be mounted in the washer system of a truck equipped with the tow prep kit, using our OEM compatible roller dropouts or adapters. Once installed, the A20 is quick and easy to use. It features an extra-wide head opening to increase trailer coupling area and a single-throw locking handle that automatically resets to the ready-to-couple position after uncoupling. To make hitching even easier, it is equipped with a hitch indicator visible from the truck cab. The indicator shows the connection status and saves you from having to check multiple times during pairing. To protect the 5th wheel A20 hitch from rust, wear, and any other threats that might hamper your trek across the country, it comes with a black carbide powder coat finish.
